Winter weather means cooler temperatures and dry air that can strip your skin leaving it dry and lackluster. But it doesn’t have to be that way. My skin is pretty normal but definitely gets dry during the winter making my skin look not its best, and my makeup to not apply as nicely as it should. With all of the parties and get-togethers, of course, you want your skin to look its best, so I’ve put together a great winter skincare routine to help keep your skin beautiful this holiday season.

Just Basics- Winter Skincare Routine

Removing your makeup is an important first step in a skin care routine no matter what time of year. I use these Just The Basics makeup wipes as they get the job done and are relatively inexpensive. You can get a pack of 60 wipes for about $4 and CVS which makes them great for those that wear makeup every day and are looking for an affordable first step in their skincare routine to help take off product.

Berry Clean- Winter Skincare Routine

Giving your face a good deep clean means getting all of the dirt and gunk out of your pores to help prevent breakouts. Pacifica’s Berry Clean cleanser leaves the skin feeling so fresh and clean, removing all of the dirt from the day. Paired with my Solo Mio my skin has never looked more refreshed or healthy then it has since I started using these. The best part is that this product won’t strip your skin or its natural oil and moister making it perfect for winter.

Apricot Scrub- Winter Skincare Routine

Exfoliating away that dry skin gives your skin a chance to breathe freely and helps keep your pores clear of anything that might cause breakouts. Baby soft skin means a beautiful glow and a perfectly smooth surface for makeup. You’ll look your best this winter at all the holiday parties with beautiful skin. St. Ives Apricot Scrub is a cult classic in the beauty world and for good reason. Nothing gets my skin feeling as soft and fresh as this stuff does. To say I am obsessed would be an understatement.

Toner- Winter Skincare Routine

I used to be part of the population that thought toner was an unnecessary added step in my skincare routine that didn’t have many benefits. Then I found this Botanics All Bright Toner and I’ve noticed such a dramatic difference in my skin especially in winter when some extra brightening and toning can really help your skin look its best.

Pixi- Winter Skincare Routine

Pixi’s Glow Tonic is also a favorite that gives your skin the most beautiful glow to it. Using it regularly really helps keep your skin clear and reduce the size of pores, overall making sure your skin looks bright and beautiful. This was the first toner I ever used that really helped me see the benefit of toner as part of my skincare especially in the winter time when dry air can wreak havoc on the skin.

Bliss- Winter Skincare Routine

Beautiful skin in the dry, cold weather is all about keeping the right amount of moisture in your skin. Whether you are dry and need a lot or are a little bit more oily and need something that absorbs quickly and is oil-free, its vital during winter. I have been addicted to the Bliss Triple Oxygen Ex-Glow-sion Moisturizer since I picked it up a few weeks ago. Not only does it keep my skin nice and soft but it smells amazing and sinks into the skin like a dream without leaving a residue behind.

By using these as part of a regular skincare routine you can ensure that your skin looks its best this holiday season. Keeping your skin clean and full of moisture is so important as the weather drys out for the winter and your face is exposed to harsher temperatures.

What are some of your go-to products for your winter skincare routine? Do you have some different ones you don’t use during the rest of the year that you break out as winter creeps up?

I hope you guys are having an amazing holiday season and are having a great week.
