Do any of you have a brand that you just can’t resist?
I do. For me its anything Free People.
Free People really should just take all of my money.
Every time I try to convince myself that I am just going to browse and not buying anything it never works and I walk out with some goodies.
I have added so many adorable spring pieces from that brand to my closet this year including this adorable free people peasant top, that I have been eyeing for awhile and finally snagged on sale. I tend to put together wish lists of things I’ve seen and loved, but usually try to buy them during end of season sales.

This adorable swing top comes in a couple different colors and is so cute for spring time. The Free People Charlie Tee is the perfect addition to your casual spring wardrobe.
Whether you are pairing it with white jeans and sandals or booties and your favorite dark washed jeans for a nicer occasion you’ll be rocking this top all spring long. Not only that but I managed to snag it for 50% off which makes it all that much sweeter.
Skinny Jeans To Balance It Out
While peasant tops can sometimes look bulk and overwhelming on a petite frame if you style them correctly that can also be an adorable addition to any spring or summer wardrobe.
By pairing this swing top with skinny jeans and a heel you can balance out the over sized look of the top making sure nothing looks like its swallowing you.
Free People isn’t a petite brand but I’ve found that a lot of their clothes fit those of us with a smaller frame really well. I have had to get some of the dresses hemmed but the tops and jackets I purchased from the brand that fit like a dream including this top.
While this top is the star of the show I need to dedicate some time in this post to the incredible pair of jeans I am wearing. The slim fit and the way that the hit right at the ankle is the perfect compliment to this less fitted peasant top.
Now, you know how hard it can be for petite women to find jeans that fit perfectly right off the shelf. They are usually to long, to tight, to lose, to big, to small or any combination in between, however enter this adorable petite pair of pants from Express.
They are the perfect ankle length and even more amazing is that they came that way right out of the package without needing any extra folding or hemming.
These jeans are such an adorable wash, and the double button closure is perfection for being just a little higher waisted to be super flattering even on a shorter torso. After finding them I honestly feel like I went heaven and I never want to take them off.
So if you need to add some more jeans to your closet consider shopping at Express for the perfect petite jeans.
Don’t forget shoes! You can never forget shoes. And as my mom says you can never have to many shoes. So when I was out shopping with a friend and say these adorable spring booties on sale I couldn’t say no.
Adding a pair of heels to this looks will help you look taller and more streamlined letting the adorable details of the tops shine.
They look as cute with jeans as they do with dresses, rompers, and skirts so if you need an extremely versatile and cute shoe for the spring these are the ones. They are comfortable and the heel isn’t so high that you can’t rock them all day long.
If you aren’t a heels kinda of person you could rock this outfit just as well with an adorable pair of sandals.
An adorable gladiator sandals would pair perfectly with this look for a great spring or summer look that will take you just as easily from day to night as the weather warms up.
Honestly, I am so excited for the weather to be getting nicer and to start putting together more adorable outfits like this. I have a hard time deciding which seasons style is my favorite.
The older I get the more I start investing in nicer clothing items that really make me excited to get dressed no matter what the weather. In fact I’ve made it my mission to avoid fast fashion as I used to cling to it so much when I was younger.
Believe me, investing in yourself pays off. Isn’t this adorable outfit proof enough of that?
